I love where I live, Balch Springs TX, except for one thing, not a small thing, a very obnoxious thing, MY NEIGHBORS!! I get completely amazed at the disrespect these people have toward their neighbors. Maybe to some people they aren't a big deal, I don't know, chime in on it, but if I am in my home, relaxing in a bath or watching t.v., I should NOT have to listen to the music booming from their cars, yes CARS, they will have a couple of cars listening to different music at the same time and it is so bad I can feel it in the far side of my house. I don't care what type of music you are listening to, if I want to listen to it I will turn on my own radio or come to your house, TURN IT DOWN!
Next peeve, we have worked long and hard on our new gardens this year, we have 3 seperate areas with vegetables and fruit in them. The back garden is watermelons, well, in order to help attract bees to the melons, and to help cover the fence which WE put up and the neighbors decided to use as one side of a nasty chicken pen (instead of putting it on the other side of the property where there are no neighbors. Anyway, we decided to put honeysuckle up for the bees and to cover the fence, and the neighbors sat and watched us carefully planting our 4 new plants, vining it up the fence(which we put up, not them) and watering it, sitting back when it was done with proud smiles on our faces. The next day, I come outside to look at our beautiful work only to find that the neighbors decided to put their 4 grown goats inside of the chicken pen so they could eat our hard work!! If I'd have had a sharp instrument I would have had goat for supper, I was so upset!! I yelled at the goats and the neighbors just stood their, pretending they didn't understand me, they only speak English when it is convenient for them, but they finally came and got the goats out, said they were sorry. 1 week later, the goats were back. These goats are also let out in the front of their house and wander over to chew on other parts of our gardens on a regular basis.
These neighbors have 4 adult goats, 2 horses, 6+ chickens, 2 new kidds(young goat) and 3 dogs. They are rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful, and a nussance. I don't know how to go about having something done, we have no association in our neighborhood, and not enough cops in Balch Springs to do anything about it.
I will admit, the back of our properties are not nice to look at, but it is a business property on that portion and that is where the shop is, we don't bother our neighbors, we are quiet and do our own thing, why can't these neighbors see how everyone else acts and follow suit...
